Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of services operated by Nyansa Algorithm, the operating name of 9937692 Canada Inc., a Canadian federal corporation ("we," "us," or "Nyansa Algorithm"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Nyansa Algorithm operates AI-driven communication platforms, including but not limited to Nenna (Canadian SME intake assistant), Yes Chef Ghana (restaurant ordering, operated under licence by Yes Chef Co Ltd), and RentSafe Ghana (tenant rights and tenancy compliance support). Each service has its own specific operating posture and limitations described within the service itself.

What our services are — and are not

Our services are productivity and communication tools that help users complete specific tasks. They are not substitutes for professional advice.

• Nenna is a qualification and intake assistant. It does not provide legal, immigration, financial, or professional advice — it routes inquiries to the licensed professionals operating it.
• RentSafe Ghana is a templating and self-help platform. It does not constitute legal advice or representation. All legal templates used by the platform are reviewed and signed off by a Ghana Bar Association-licensed lawyer, and documents generated carry that attribution. RentSafe does not appear at proceedings on behalf of users; cases requiring formal legal representation are referred to qualified lawyers.
• Yes Chef Ghana is operated under licence by Yes Chef Co Ltd in Accra, Ghana. Yes Chef Co Ltd is the licensee operator and primary point of contact for Yes Chef users.

Account and acceptable use

You agree to use our services lawfully and in accordance with their intended purpose. You agree not to:

• Use our services to violate any applicable law in Canada, Ghana, or any other jurisdiction
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Use our services to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Use our services to send unsolicited communications or spam
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our underlying technology

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

Payment

Where our services require payment, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorise us to charge the payment method you provide. Payment for Ghanaian services is processed through MTN Mobile Money via Paystack. Payment for Canadian and diaspora services is processed through Stripe. Subscription services renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Intellectual property

All software, content, documentation, and intellectual property associated with our services remain the property of Nyansa Algorithm (9937692 Canada Inc.) or our licensors. Document templates used by RentSafe are licensed for user generation of self-help documents only — the templates themselves remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without our written consent.

User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you provide to our services (case narratives, photographs, voice notes, documents). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not use your content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be free from inaccuracy. AI assistants make mistakes; users should review all output before acting on it.

Our services are not a substitute for licensed professional advice — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise. Where regulatory licensing applies (Bar Council in Ghana, professional regulatory bodies in Canada), our services operate within strict templating and self-help boundaries.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nyansa Algorithm (9937692 Canada Inc.) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

For Ghanaian users specifically, any dispute relating to RentSafe Ghana or Yes Chef Ghana services may also be brought before the courts of Ghana, in accordance with applicable Ghanaian consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email or in-service notification. Continued use of the service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
