Nyansa Algorithm (operating name of 9937692 Canada Inc., a Canadian federal corporation) operates AI-driven communication services across Canada and Ghana. We take the privacy of the people who use our services seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.
Who we are
Nyansa Algorithm is the operating name of 9937692 Canada Inc., a federally incorporated Canadian corporation. Our registered office is at 20 Zachary Court, Toronto, Ontario M6A 0B2, Canada. We can be reached by email at hello@nenna.app.
We act as Data Controller for the personal information of users of our services, except where a specific service is operated under licence by a third party (for example, Yes Chef Ghana is operated under licence by Yes Chef Co Ltd in Accra; that company acts as Data Controller for Yes Chef users in Ghana, with Nyansa Algorithm acting as a Data Processor).
What we collect
The personal information we collect depends on which of our services you use.
For Nenna users
- Name, email address, and phone number you provide during intake
- The content of your conversation with the Nenna assistant
- Information you provide about the service or consultation you are seeking
- Technical information automatically collected from your device (IP address, browser type, time of access)
For RentSafe Ghana users
- Name, phone number, and preferred language as captured during intake
- Information about your tenancy, including property address, landlord identity, rent amount, and dispute details
- Documents, photographs, or voice notes you upload as evidence to your private case vault
- The content of your conversations with the RentSafe assistant
- Optional sensitive information you choose to provide (Ghana Card number, financial details), required only for formal complaint filings
For Yes Chef Ghana users
- Phone number and any name you provide during ordering
- Order details, delivery address, and payment confirmation references
- Loyalty program participation information
- The content of your conversations with the Yes Chef assistant
How we use your information
We use personal information for the specific purposes the service requires:
- To provide the service you have engaged us for
- To generate documents, communications, or transactions on your behalf with your explicit consent
- To improve the quality and accuracy of our AI assistants through aggregated, anonymised analysis
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To comply with legal obligations under Canadian and Ghanaian law
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for advertising or marketing without your explicit consent.
How we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers we engage to operate our services, including WhatsApp Business API providers (Meta), AI providers (Anthropic), workflow orchestration providers (n8n), payment processors (Paystack for MoMo, Stripe for international payments), and cloud infrastructure providers (Google Workspace, Netlify). Each is contractually bound to handle data in accordance with this policy.
- With your consent, with parties you authorise. For example, RentSafe will not share your tenancy information with your landlord or with Rent Control Department without your explicit, documented consent.
- For licensed third-party operators. Yes Chef Ghana users' information is shared with Yes Chef Co Ltd as the licensee operator.
- When required by law, including in response to lawful requests from public authorities in Canada or Ghana.
Where your data is stored
Personal information collected through our services is processed and stored in Google Cloud regions located in the United States and Europe. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information outside of your country of residence for the purposes described in this policy.
How long we keep information
Retention periods vary by service and data type. Tenancy records and case evidence in RentSafe are retained for seven years to support legal documentation needs. Conversation history is generally retained for two years. Aggregated and anonymised data may be retained indefinitely. You can request earlier deletion subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law in your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis
- Object to certain types of processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in Ghana, the Data Protection Commission

Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of sensitive fields at rest, HTTPS for all data in transit, access controls limiting personnel access to data, and regular review of security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email or in-service notification. The effective date at the top of this policy reflects the date of the current version.
